Descrizione
Sunset and Lavender bloom – You will walk for about two kilometers through fields of lavender and aromatic plants planted by the owners, between artistic fountains made from old oak trunks and comfortable seats inside the centuries-old olive trees.
You will arrive in a necropolis to visit an Etruscan chamber tomb from the 4th century BC, with an extraordinary frescoed and sculpted ceiling in imitation of the beams on the roof of the house. From here you will descend through a cool wood of oaks and turkey oaks into the gorge of the Arrone stream between wooden bridges and waterfalls that flow over the volcanic stones.
You can stop at the spring that still feeds the wash house built in 1800.
You will go up again to the hills where you can walk among the lavender and the vegetable garden of ancient fruits. It will be a relaxing journey suitable for everyone, during which you can enjoy the spectacle of white butterflies among the lavender at sunset, listen to the buzz of bees at work, and recognize spontaneous and cultivated aromatic plants.
